Michelle here with a few bookmarkers for you. I hadn't made a bookmark yet in all of the years of my stamping. Being a book-lover, my preference in a bookmarker is thin and flat...so I made two for you today that fit the bill!
This first one is a quick and easy take on a corner marker.
First step is to cut a corner off of an envelope. I used no science or measuring...just cut of a hunk and then covered the seamed side with the designer paper as shown. I used a touch of faux stitching, because, you guessed it....it's flat!
I added some strong tape to the edge of the marker and attached out some elements that I punched out of a coordinating sheet of designer paper. I put a piece of tape along the back edge where the front panel meets the circles so it smoothly slides onto your page without catching. I attached Sweet Anya and you have a bookmarker!
For my next one I just did a traditional marker. I folded a piece of 4 inch wide designer paper in half and closed it with adhesive so you have a twosided pink marker. I added a small tag/rub-on and Miss Anya from the Miss Anya Collection. I crowned my marker with a Spellbinders Floral Doily Motif Die and ribbon. The ribbon sticks out of the book, so it fits my thin marker rule!
Copic Markers used on this project: B97, B95, B93, E44, E43, E42, E02, E00, R89, R85, R83, YR24, YR23, YG17. I used some papers from a 6x6 collection from icopic...there are over 140 to choose from!
