Good Morning iCopic Lovers! Tracy Valure here with you today. Seriously you all need to go and check out the store! Holy smokes there are all sorts of new things, one of my favorite additions are the new My Favorite Things line! Oh yes, die-namics and stamps galore. They are a must see. Not to mention all the new paper pads that have been arriving. I've been totally stoked about that! I'm a huge 6x6 pad fan, anymore thats the FIRST thing I go for when making cards.
If my project is bigger or a box of some sort I don't always go for them, but depending on size I certainly do. I just love having all that coordinating paper together and the prints are always smaller than what they are on the 12x12 versions so they are perfect for cardmaking, which is what I typically do! So if you haven't been in awhile, go check out the new additions to the iCopic store!
The first time I saw Fergus from Wild Rose Studios I fell completely in love. He is just the most adorable dino around. Of course I colored Party Time Fergus with my beloved Copics.The colors I used for him are:
Green: YG00, YG03, YG05, YG06, YG09
Blue: B000, B01, B02, B05, B06
Brown: E42, E43, E44
Maroon: RV32, R56, R59
Orange: YR01, YR12, YR14
Pink: RV00, RV02, RV04
BackgroundW2,W4, E40
After I was finished coloring Fergus, I went back in with some Copic opaque white and added little dots on his hat. Also the blending card that I used to color on is so stark white that I really tried to distress it some by using some very light shades of browns (E40). Plus it helps make Fergus pop some!
