iCopic Weekly Challenge #66

Welcome to another iCopic Weekly Challenge. This week we are on challenge #66. It's Sheri and I am super excited to be able to kick off this week's challenge with you!

The Challenge: BV Color Family
Create a project that features Copics from the BV, or blue violet, group! Purples seem to be one of the lesser used colors in crafting so let's give those BV purples some love this week!
To join this week's challenge just add a direct link to your challenge project below. Projects are due on Sunday, January 29 at noon PST. A winner will be chosen at random to receive this week's prize. The winner and top 3 picks be showcased right here on the iCopic blog Sunday evening

This week's prize is a special $15 gift voucher!

Now, here is my inspiration project for this week. If you're like me, the BV collection is a bit of an under utilized set.  However, once I started coloring, I found myself really loving them! Madden from The Greeting Farm is a fun girl, isn't she?  Perfect for a little BV hair, in fact!  Also, you might be able to see there is even a bit of BV04 in the airbrushed background.
Normally I'm a pick-my-papers-first, color-second kind of girl, but this time I colored Madden first and picked out my papers afterwards. So much harder!  LOL. But, to help bring the papers together, I used a bit of Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Fired Brick around the edges...
and I think it worked.

Thank you so much for visiting the iCopic Blog today and I look forward to seeing everyone's BV projects. :)

Awesome challenge Sheri! Your card is FABULOUS and your coloring DIVINE! Love, love, love those flowers!!!! And you're right, I never use the BV's but used it on a Magnolia just last week for a class I'm giving, and I ADORE the color! Hope I find a little extra time to put it on a card before leaving for CHA! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration!
hugs, Sharon

Bummer I don't have any BV colors. :0( That's ok, I will still enjoy looking at everyones submissions.

Sheri - this card is ADORABLE!! Love her BV hair - so punk!

Do you have any V's? They would work since they are still violet :) I would love for you to play along. Our intention is never to exclude anyone.

I like this challenge! You guys always push me to try something new!
