iCopic Weekly Challenge #62

Hello! Samantha here.  Can you believe this will be the LAST iCopic challenge for 2011?! Crazy huh?

Again this week, we are having a weekly prize just for our commenters!! We love when you leave us comments. Every week we will draw a name from all the comments left on that week's posts and give away a $5 gift certificate! The more posts you comment on, the more chances you have to win. We just want to offer this weekly prize to you guys to say thank you for stopping by and giving us your feedback.

Here goes. . .

The Challenge: New Years Bling
When I think of New Year's Eve, I think of gold, glitter, and bling. New Years decor is always over the top with shiny stuff. Your project does NOT have to be new years themed, but use lots of bling on your project. Go over the top with your bling just like the decorations for New Year's Eve.

Add a direct link to your challenge project below. Projects are due on Sunday, January 1st at noon PST. A winner will be chosen at random to receive this week's prize. The winner and top 3 picks be showcased right here on the iCopic blog Sunday evening!

This week's prize is a special $15 gift voucher!

My inspiration project just so happens to be a New Years card, but your project does NOT have to be new years themed.
For my over the top bling, I used Sheer Shimmer Spritz over the entire scallop circle image. And if that wasn't enough, I added adhesive pearls around the scalloped area.

Here are some close ups:

And I didn't just add some ribbon, I added ribbon, twine, and a button. This definitely works with our over the top theme for this week.

Samantha, I love your card. It says more Beatrix Potter to me. Lovely lovely. All your little touches are fabulous like that courderoy button. Yummy!

Bling! How fun! Must try if I get a free moment this week.

I do love that card and that adorable stamp.

Great projects linked up this week. Happy New Year everyone!

What a great challenge, although I'm not as Copic "advanced" as some of the ladies above the challenge is fun just the same.

New to your blog but I will be back often
