iCopic Weekly Challenge #58

Hi everyone! Samantha here bringing you another awesome challenge.

This one might be easy for you guys, but for me, this one was probably the most difficult challenge yet.

Again this week, we are having a weekly prize just for our commenters!! We love when you leave us comments. Every week we will draw a name from all the comments left on that week's posts and give away a $5 gift certificate! The more posts you comment on, the more chances you have to win. We just want to offer this weekly prize to you guys to say thank you for stopping by and giving us your feedback.

The Challenge: Vintage Distressed
Create a vintage/distressed project using your Copics. Think distressing inks, muted colors, and aging techniques (torn edges, ruffed up paper, etc).

Add a direct link to your challenge project below. Projects are due on Sunday, December 4th at noon PST. A winner will be chosen at random to receive this week's prize. The winner and top 3 picks be showcased right here on the iCopic blog Sunday evening!

This week's prize is a special $15 gift voucher!

This inspiration project I made for you is about as vintage as my style gets. I will show you my techniques in a video for tomorrow's Tuesday Tips and Tricks segment.
The image I used is from Wild Rose Studio, called Pickle with Sledge. I will tell you about the rest of my project tomorrow.

Now enter your project below:

Awesome! Your card looks great and fits the vintage theme perfectly. :)

Tough or not, I love this challenge! Hope to have time to participate on this one.
This inspiration project is supercute :o)

Love the card sample and cant wait to give this a try. I love the vintage look!!

I'm note sure what "distressed" and "vintage" is,so I used google translate and the words "painful" and "vine" came up. after googling some pictures of vintage, I guess it's more about "old style" then that you wants us to draw painfuly bottles of vine?:)Oh, I'm swedish, by the way.

Nemo,

Yes it is about "old" and "aged" looking style. Nothing to do with painful or vines :)

Think of a very old photograph, where it turns brown and has torn edges. I will be doing a tutorial tomorrow and maybe you will understand it a bit better also.

This card is adorable! I love it and can't wait to get out my markers and see what I can do. Thank you!

Your card is really fabulous!! Wow! The colors are amazing. I stepped out and attempted vintage. Looking at the other entries, well, it just tells me that I have so much more to learn.
