Tuesday Tips and Tricks: Fur

Hey everyone! Samantha here!

My card for this lovely Tuesday is a lovey dovey card. I used the adorable Milton with Card stamp from Wild Rose Studio and I want to show you a different fur coloring technique.

I colored this little cutie with the following Copic markers:
E40, E42, E43, E44, R46, and R59.

I colored in the bear image like I normally would, except, I added fur texture around the edges using my darkest shade, E44. I just made thin lines a little distance apart around the edges. I didn't blend those fur marks in, I just added them as my last coloring step to give the bear some texture. I only added the texture around the edges, to give the bear a soft, subtle texture. This gives the illusion that the bear is nice and furry.

I colored in the little heart with the Pitch Black AtYou Spica glitter pen.

I added some patterned paper to the card base and slapped on a sentiment from the SP and Company Bold Sentiments I stamp set. The final touch was this beautiful Cherry Divine Twine.

Well that is all for today!! I hope you will try out my fur technique and see what you come up with. If you test it out, tell us about it in the comments section below.
