Hi, everyone, Kelli here! Today I have a cheery card to share with you. I have been making quite a few holiday cards lately so I thought I would go with something more for everyday use today. I also chose to do something a little different this time around, which is to color on kraft card stock. I really love the look of it. Even though you are coloring on card stock that is darker than white, I feel it makes the colors pop.
For all the flowers and their stems I used the Lawn Fawn - Blissful Botanicals set and stamped them in Memento - Tuxedo Black Ink.
I wanted the sentiment, from the SP & Company - For Every Woman set to stand out, but not too much that it overpowered the flowers, so I stamped it on the same color kraft as the base in Onyx Black VersaFine Ink. Then I cut it into a banner shape, added some white gel pen stitch lines and popped it up on dimensionals.
Even though there isn't tons of coloring on this card, I used a lot of markers. Here are all the Copic colors used:
YG21, 23, 25
G03, 05, 07, 20, 24, 28
V01, 05, 06, 09, 12, 15
R22, 24, 29
RV23, 25, 29
YR15, 16, 18, Y35
B21, 24, 26
BG13, 15, 18
To finish off the card I used some of the awesome Divine Baker's Twine in Purple Plum and added a blue Stampin' Up! button.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
