Sending extra love your way. (Wavy Hair)

Hi everyone, Kelli here!  I hope you're all having a great week!  For today I have a card that uses the Wild Rose Studio Stamp - Mia Reading, which I stamped in Memento - Tuxedo Black Ink.

The patterned part of her hair bow, dress, stocking and background layer were all done using the same sheet of paper from the Wild Rose Studio 6x6 Pad - Faded Florals.  iCopic's 6x6 paper selection is really growing, which I'm extremely excited about because 6x6 is my favorite size to work with, especially for cards!  Click here to check out the selection!
On the parts that I paper pieced I shadowed with a little R24 and R22 just give some added depth.  What I really wanted to emphasize in this project was her blonde, wavy hair.  I haven't really done distinct waves on a project yet, so I thought it would be fun to try it out.  I used Copics: E31, Y35, Y21, Y11 and Y000.  For her skin I used: YR00, E00, E000 and R20 for her cheeks.  For the accents on her dress I used: BG15, BG13 and BG11.  For the adorable little kitty I used C5, N0 and R20 for the inside of his ears.  The light blue accents on the books were done with B32, B21 and B0000.  And, as always, 0 (Colorless Blender) for any little spots where I colored out of the lines.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  :)
