Christmas penguins!

Hi everyone, Kelli here!  Can you believe that I have a Christmas card to share with you today.  Only 4 months left, phew how time flies!  I stamped the adorable Christmas Cuddles stamp by Wild Rose Studio in Memento - Tuxedo Black ink.

I can't get enough of these cute little guys, they are absolutely adorable!  I colored their hats with Copics: R29, R27, R24 and R22.  For the sparkly white parts, I first used B0000 around the edges to give it a little more shading and then put fine clear glitter over the top with a 2-way glue pen.  For the darker parts of their bodies I used C9, C7 and C5.  For the lighter part I used Y21, Y000 and a lot of 0 (Colorless Blender) to help smooth it out because it's really only supposed to be somewhat of a shadow.  Their beaks and feet are Y35, Y23 and Y11.  For the cheeks I just tapped a q-tip in some lighter pink ink and dabbed it on.

Here you can see the variety of patterned papers I used.  I was so excited to use some of the awesome Christmas papers!  The pretty, sparkly ornaments (that match the penguins' hats) is from the First Edition - Festive Treats paper pad.  I think it's great when papers have that little extra something, either embossing, glitter, flocking...you name it, I love it!  :)
Don't forget to come back tomorrow for our blog hop!!!
Thanks for stopping by!  :)
