Smile!

Hi everyone, Kelli here!  Today I have a card to share with you that uses the absolutely adorable Winter Walkies rubber stamp by Tutti Cuti!  The fun background paper that you can see in this first picture is from the Wild Rose Studio, Faded Florals 6x6 pack.

I stamped the image first using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (My favorite for Copics!) and then colored them with quite a few markers which I'll list at the end all in one place.  When I was in the middle of coloring her, after I was done with the skin, I realized that I colored her legs skin color instead of making them pants!  She's going to be awfully cold with those bare legs hanging out!  Hehe!  We'll just pretend it's a Florida (where I live) winter scene since there's no snow on the ground.  That's how I'm going to justify those naked legs with the whole winter getup!  Lol!  For the grass I used the Kalahari Dreams 6x6 paper pack by Wild Rose Studio and just cut it by hand to make some hills.  Then to give them some dimension I inked the edges with the Tim Holtz, Peeled Paint Distress Ink.  For the sky, I drew and cut out some clouds on regular copy paper and then used them as a mask to air brush around them.

For the clouds, I used the Tim Holtz, Pearl Metallic Mixative and painted it on with a paint brush.  It was really hard to get a picture that would do this amazing stuff justice!  The color is sooo pretty and pearly!  For the sentiment I used 'smile' from the Blissful Botanicals set by Lawn Fawn.  After that I finished off the card with a few rhinestones and some white gel pen stitching.

Copics used:
sky (airbrush), eyes, skirt, hat: B21, B23, B24, B26
skin: E00, YR00
hair, dog: E35, E37, E29
jacket, hat, leash: RV21, RV25, RV29
cheeks, dog ears, dog nose: R20, R22
mittens, boots, hat: Y11, Y21, E31
boot soles: C5, C7, C9
mistakes: 0 (Colorless Blender)

Thanks for stopping by!  :)
