Grandma Tag

Hi everyone, Kelli here!  This weeks challenge is to make "anything but a card", which I think is SO much fun because it gets me out of my comfort zone.  I am almost strictly a card maker, so it's always nice to try something else!  Check out this post to play along!

I made a tag that can be given to a Grandma (like I made) or any other lovely lady in your life, all you have to do is change the sentiment!  I used the For Every Woman stamp set by SP & Company for both the main image and the 'Grandma' sentiment.  I stamped my image on the X-Press It Blending Paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
For the flower petals I used Copics: R22, R20 and 0 (Colorless Blender), for the center: Y35, Y23 and Y11, for the stem: G24, G21, G20, and for the vase: B21 and B0000.  In the center I also used my Spica Glitter Pen in clear, even though it's hard to tell in the pics.
The background paper is from the Faded Florals 6x6 paper pad by Wild Rose Studio.

I couldn't find a good way to loop the ribbon through the hole in the top of the tag, so I brought out my trusty Divine Baker's Twine in Oyster and tied all of the ends together in a bow!

For some added interest I used Glossy Accents on the vase so it would look more like glass.

Here is the 'Grandma' sentiment which I stamped in gray and then cut and folded into a little banner.  It's very faint, but I also stamped the other flower from the For Every Woman stamp set in yellow behind the sentiment.  I finished the whole thing off with some adhesive backed pearls and white gel pen stitch lines.
Thanks for looking!  :)

Gorgeous! I love how you colored the daisies - they look perfect. I love baker's twine, too! It's awesome.
