iCopic Weekly Challenge #29

Hello everyone!!

Are you ready for this week's challenge? This week, we have a tricky one for you, but I know you all will do a great job.

CHALLENGE: Color with REDs!  Reds can be tricky and tend to be harder to blend than some of the other colors. Pull out those red Copics and test them out.

TIPS:

  • Less is more, use a light touch when coloring with reds!
  • Be careful around edges, it is harder to fix mistakes with reds!
  • HAVE FUN!! If you don't like your results, try again. That is one of the best things about this hobby -you can re-do anything you want :)

Here are some inspirational projects for you:

Rachel made this beauty. The apples were colored in using R24, R27, R29, YG23 & YG25. She chose BRIGHT reds for her apples creating a deep red effect.

And Kelli made the lovely card below. Kelli chose to use some of the lighter shades of red to create more contrast on her balloon image.

Now matter what reds you decide to use, link up your project below in Mister Linky. Entries are due by Sunday May 15th at noon EST. Have fun and I can't wait to see what you make.
