Christmas in May Card

Admittedly, this is a very off season card, but it is never too early to work on those Christmas cards!

Here is a Christmas card Samantha made:

Here is a close up of the snowmen so you can see how they were colored:

To color in the snowmen, she used Copic Ciao markers in the following colors:
  • 100 Black (for the coals and top hats on the snowmen)
  • B02 Robin's Egg Blue (for the blue scarves and hats)
  • B00 Frost Blue (for the snow part of the snowmen and the ground)
  • C3 Cool Gray #3 (used over the B00 on the snowmen that are positioned in the back behind other snowmen so that their shade of blue snow was slightly darker than the snowmen in front. It is very subtle but it makes subtle looking shadows.)
  • RV000 Pale Purple, RV02 Sugared Almond Pink, and RV04 Shock Pink (all for the pink scarves and hats)

I love this card. It really is'nt to early to start on christmas cards. TFS

How cute!! Love those snowmen, and the way they're colored.

It's never too early to start on Christmas and I love the blues in this card- always my fav to work with! Thanks for sponsoring Samantha- great giveaways!

I love this card. I want to try something similar! As far as tutorials, I want something geared for beginners. I have never used copics and am not sure where to start!

Oops, forgot on my previous comment on your scrapbook page to answer the question. Would love to learn how to use copics as don't own any and haven't made cards with anyone who does. Only seen them on other blogs. Please start with Copics 101. Thanks!
